Ethan Marrinan & Denis Giguere are Physiotherapists and Clinical Educators at the University of Queensland Neurological, Ageing and Balance (NAB) Clinic – a private student led neurological clinic. Due to the COVID 19 crisis, they were part of a rapid rollout from a face to face service to a 100% telehealth service model. This also included facilitating Neurological student placements in a purely telehealth setting.

The discussion will include:

  • Insights into the experience of rapid telehealth rollout in a specialist Neurological practice setting including the pros and cons of telehealth, systems development and providing clinical education
  • Condition/ client specific facilitators and barriers to telehealth
  • Possible future directions of telehealth in the neurological client experience
