Emma is a registered psychologist. She holds a Bachelor of Psychology and a Masters of Applied Psychology (Sport & Exercise) and has worked with athletes and performers from a variety of sports including cricket, netball, swimming, tennis, gymnastics, dance, athletics, basketball, cycling, water polo, volleyball and many more. She is passionate about athlete wellbeing and performance enhancement and uses a variety of approaches in her work, tailored to meet the needs of the client. Emma believes that every individual can reach their potential and encourages all athletes and performers to develop self-awareness, knowledge and skills to achieve their peak. Emma frequently consults with group and individuals regarding areas such as managing nerves and coping with pressure, overcoming setbacks (including injury), managing difficult emotions and self-doubt, confidence, race preparation, motivation, and stress management. Areas outside of performance are also able to be discussed including well-being, mental health and retirement.
