Kaye Duncan (midwife and nurse) will present Calmbirth, which is an evidence-based education program. It is an antenatal birthing program that has something to offer to all pregnant women, regardless of their parity or past experience. The Mind-Body Connection plays a critical role in birth and Kaye will explain how she presents this connection to antenatal couples. A large component of the workshops involve hands-on practical strategies for labour and birth, which Kaye will briefly discuss in her lecture. She will also explain how she uses clinical hypnosis in her every day work as a midwife and nurse in a hospital setting.
